Our Story

Creative Minds Learning Center was founded as Creative Minds Tutoring in 2020. Melissa McKinney, Owner & Lead Teacher, anticipated the tremendous need students would have in the aftermath of online learning during the Covid era. Her passion for teaching, especially working with kids in a 1-on-1 setting, fed the dream to start her own business. As a single mom at the time, she forged ahead to create a tutoring business, which has grown and expanded exponentially to now include a more full-service educational center.
